How I approach the face:
FRZN Aesthetics is led by Alyssa Hoover, a board certified nurse practitioner, and tox is treated as anatomy backed by clinical training. Most people who sit in my chair are not chasing a different face. They want to stop looking tired, tense, or older than they feel, while keeping every expression that reads as them. That means reading how your muscles actually pull, dosing to desired effect, and respecting the muscles you rely on for natural expression. We would rather start conservative and add than overdo it and wait it out.

Botox that softens lines without flattening your expression, placed by a nurse practitioner who treats for balance.
How Botox actually works:
Botox is a purified form of botulinum toxin type A. When placed into a specific muscle, it temporarily blocks the nerve signal that tells that muscle to contract. Less contraction means the skin above it stops creasing, so the dynamic lines that form with movement have a chance to smooth out and soften. It is precise, targeted, and temporary, which is exactly why placement and dosing matter so much.
A few things people ask me:
Where we treat
The most requested areas are the forehead lines, the frown lines between the brows often called the elevens, and the crow's feet around the eyes. Botox also does more nuanced work: a subtle brow lift, softening bunny lines on the nose, a lip flip, easing a gummy smile, slimming the jaw through the masseter, smoothing chin dimpling, relaxing neck bands, even slimming the neck and shoulders with treating the trap muscles!
What can I expect?
Treatment is quick and uses a very fine needle, so most people find it easy. You may have tiny bumps or minor redness for a short while after, and the occasional small bruise is normal. Results begin to show in about three to five days and reach their full effect around two weeks. Most people enjoy their results for roughly three to four months before movement gradually returns and it is time to retreat.
Who is the right candidate?
Botox at FRZN suits people who want to look refreshed and less tense while keeping their expressions their own. It works both to soften lines that are already set and, used thoughtfully over time, to slow how deeply new ones form. If you want honest guidance on what you actually need rather than a hard sell, you are in the right place.
How much does Botox cost in Frisco?
Most clinics price tox by the unit, which sounds transparent but quietly works against you. When you pay per unit, the incentive is to sell you more of them, and it can tempt a provider to under dose an area just to land on a number you will say yes to. I price by the area treated instead. You pay for the result in that zone, and I dose it to what your muscle actually needs, whether that is a little or a lot. It keeps your cost truly transparent and means the only thing setting your dose is your anatomy and goal. Click here to see the price list.
Does it hurt?
Very little. The needle is tiny and treatment is fast. Most people describe a quick pinch and nothing more.
How long does Botox last?
Generally three to four months, though it varies by person, area, and dose. With my dosing protocol, my goal is to give you five months duration.
When will I see results?
Softening starts around two to five days and settles fully by about two weeks. If a small adjustment is needed, that is easy to do at your follow up.
