What is PRX?
PRX is a topical biostimulator treatment, sometimes called a no-peel peel. It uses a medical grade blend built around TCA, worked into the skin by hand rather than injected. Unlike a traditional chemical peel, it firms and brightens from below without a true, sheeting peel. You may notice some light flaking as the skin renews, but not the days of shedding a chemical peel can cause. The result is the renewal you would expect from a peel and the collagen building of a biostimulator, with far less downtime.
How it works
The formula stimulates the deeper layers of the skin to produce new collagen, while the rest of the blend protects the surface from a harsh peeling reaction. That combination is the whole point: real biostimulation and brighter, tighter skin without the heavy peeling or the hiding indoors. A little light flaking as the skin turns over is normal. Because it works by building your own collagen, results come in gradually across a weekly series and strengthen over time.
Who it is for
PRX suits people who want brighter, firmer, more even skin but cannot take real downtime, along with anyone working on dullness, early laxity, uneven tone, texture, or the look of mild scarring. Because it is needle free and gentle on the surface, it is a comfortable option across all skin tones. It also pairs beautifully with microneedling when we want to push results further.

A few things people ask me:
What to expect
Treatment is quick and comfortable. Right after, skin often looks a little pink and feels tight in a good way, with an immediate glow. You may notice some light flaking over the next few days as the skin renews, but not the sheeting peel of a chemical peel, and there is no real downtime, so you can get back to your day and wear makeup soon after. PRX is done as a weekly series for the fullest result, and it also makes a great glow-up before an event since there is little to recover from.
Will I peel?
Not the way you would with a chemical peel. You might see some light flaking as the skin renews, but not true sheeting or days of shedding, and there is no real downtime.
How much downtime is there?
Essentially none. Some pinkness and a tight, glowy feeling right after, maybe a little light flaking, then back to normal.
How many sessions will I need?
PRX works best as a weekly series, usually around 4-5 sessions spaced about a week apart, since we are building collagen over time. We will map out your plan at your consultation.
Does it hurt?
No needles are involved. Most people feel a light tingle or warmth during the treatment that settles quickly.
Is it safe for deeper skin tones?
Yes. PRX is gentle on the surface and needle free, which makes it a comfortable, low risk option across all skin tones.
Can I combine it with microneedling?
Yes. PRX and microneedling work well together, and we will tell you whether pairing them makes sense for your goals.
