What EZ Gel PRF is
EZ Gel is an autologous injectable, which means it is made entirely from your own blood with nothing synthetic added. A small sample is drawn, spun in a centrifuge to separate your plasma, and gently warmed to form an albumin gel that is rich in your own growth factors. That gel is then injected to restore soft volume, refine texture, and support healthier looking skin over time. Because it comes from your own body, there is no synthetic filler and virtually no risk of allergic reaction.
How it works
Your plasma contains growth factors and proteins your body already uses to repair and regenerate tissue. Warming a portion of that plasma creates a firmer albumin based gel that acts as a temporary scaffold, while the liquid platelet rich fibrin around it releases growth factors that stimulate collagen and improve skin quality. You get a soft, immediate volumizing effect from the gel, followed by a gradual improvement in the quality of the skin itself as your own regenerative process is triggered.
What it treats
EZ Gel is well suited to the delicate areas where synthetic filler can feel too heavy, especially the under eye hollows, where it is often used as EZ Bright to soften shadows and refresh a tired look. It is also used to smooth fine lines, support the nasolabial folds and temples, and improve overall skin texture and tone. It pairs beautifully with microneedling and can be part of a facial balancing or hair restoration plan, since the same growth factors that help the skin also support the scalp.
PRP, PRF, and EZ Gel: the difference
All from your own bloodAll three come from your own blood and use your body's own growth factors, but they are processed differently and do different jobs.
PRP (platelet rich plasma) is your blood spun to concentrate platelets into a liquid rich in growth factors. It releases those growth factors quickly and is usually microneedled into the skin or injected to improve skin quality, under eyes, and hair. It is the most liquid of the three.
PRF (platelet rich fibrin) is spun more gently and without any additives, which lets it form a soft fibrin scaffold that also captures white blood cells and stem cells. Because of that scaffold, PRF releases growth factors slowly over days instead of all at once, so it is considered more regenerative and longer working than PRP. It can be used as a liquid or a clot.
EZ Gel PRF takes PRF a step further. A portion of your plasma is gently warmed to create an albumin gel, which is then combined with liquid PRF. The result is a moldable, longer lasting filler that gives soft volume right away while the growth factors keep working underneath. Put simply, PRP is a quick release liquid, PRF is a slow release scaffold, and EZ Gel is PRF turned into a volumizing gel.
What EZ Gel is, and is not
EZ Gel is a biocompatible option that is metabolized by your body, so it is temporary. Results in treated areas typically last around three to four months, while the collagen stimulation it triggers works on a longer timeline. For lasting improvement it is best done as a short series rather than a single visit.
Because it is your own plasma, EZ Gel does not offer the firm, long lasting structural support of a hyaluronic acid filler. If your goal is significant projection or long term volume, we may recommend HA filler instead, or a combination. At your consultation we talk through which approach fits your face and your goals honestly.

A few things people ask me
How much does EZ Gel cost in Frisco?
EZ Gel Bright Eyes for the under eyes is $650 per session, and EZ Gel Lower Face Restore for the nasolabial folds and perioral area is $750 per session. Both work best as a short series.
Is it really made from my own blood?
Yes. A small sample of your blood is drawn and processed in office, then injected the same visit. Nothing synthetic is added.
How long does it last?
Volume in the treated area usually lasts around three to four months. The collagen and skin quality benefits build over a longer period, which is why a short series is recommended.
Does it replace filler?
Not always. EZ Gel is a softer option that shines in delicate areas like the under eyes. For firm structural support or long lasting volume, HA filler is often the better tool. Many people combine the two.
Is there downtime?
Minimal. Expect possible swelling, tenderness, or a small bruise for a few days. Most people return to normal activity right away.
Is it safe?
Because EZ Gel is made from your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction is very low. As with any injectable, treatment should be performed by a trained medical provider, and at FRZN it is done by a board certified nurse practitioner.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Yes. EZ Gel pairs well with microneedling and can be built into a facial balancing or hair restoration plan. We will map the right combination for you at your consultation.
