Start hereDoes it hurt?
A needle going into skin is never completely painless, but I work hard to keep you comfortable. Depending on your treatment I use topical numbing, dental blocks, or nerve blocks. Microneedling is done with topical numbing and most people tolerate it easily. Lip filler is the spiciest one, so I do a nerve block for that specifically. Every filler I use also contains lidocaine, so the product keeps numbing as I go.
How long do results last?
With my dosing protocol and Daxxify, most patients get around four to six months out of their tox. A lot of it comes down to what I call the 80/20 rule: about 20 percent of your result is what I do in office, and 80 percent is how you care for yourself outside of it. Daily high intensity workouts, heavy drinking, and smoking can all shorten how long your results last, or how well they show up in the first place. For filler it depends on the product and the area. I use a lot of Radiesse, which tends to last around two years. Timelines vary more than people expect, and when you follow your plan and care for your skin, results often keep improving over time.
Is there downtime?
For tox, plan on 24 to 48 hours. Because I am placing tiny holes in your skin that lead down toward muscle, I ask you to skip heavy makeup and hard sweating in that window to lower any risk of infection. Chemical peels run about five to seven days of peeling, so no heavy makeup until you are done, no picking, and SPF every single day. PRX has very little downtime, just some minor flaking and no true peeling, and you can return to your routine in about 48 to 72 hours. Filler can bruise, since a needle or cannula is working through tissue. For anything involving needles, book your touch ups about two months before a big event, and please never the day of.
Is it safe?
Yes. Every product I use and carry is FDA approved, though some areas are treated off label, which is common and something we discuss. I keep emergency protocols and an emergency kit on hand, including hyaluronidase to dissolve filler and full vascular occlusion protocols. Beyond that, I am an active emergency room nurse, so managing urgent situations is part of my daily work. My medical director is also emergency trained, runs her own practice, injects herself, and is genuinely available if I ever need her. My clinic sits directly across from a hospital with an emergency department. The safety here is layered, on purpose.
How much does it cost?
When you are treated by me you are not just paying for product, which is why I price per area rather than per unit or per syringe. You are paying for my experience in medical aesthetics and in emergency and critical care nursing, my ability to prescribe if you ever needed antibiotics or a steroid for a reaction, and my ongoing education. My per area pricing for tox and facial balancing is listed openly on my price list. In Texas almost anyone can inject, so where you place this investment matters. Choose licensed, experienced, well backed hands. If a la carte fits your life better we prioritize your treatments together, and I offer financing through Cherry for people who want their full result sooner.
Am I too young or too old for this?
I do not think many people are too old to invest in themselves. Some concerns are better addressed surgically, and if that is you I will tell you honestly and refer you to a surgeon I trust. On the younger side, I treat 23 and up for most things and 21 and up for microneedling. Some younger patients do not need forehead or frown line tox yet, and we talk that through. I have a soft spot here though. I had a deep forehead line in my early twenties that genuinely bothered me, and starting tox in my late twenties kept it from setting in for good. Candidacy is always a real conversation at your consult.
Facial Balancing
Our specialtyWhat is facial balancing, and how is it different from one syringe of filler?
One syringe of filler is not facial balancing, that is a la carte filler. One syringe is about one milliliter, roughly the size of a ketchup packet, so it is hard to truly balance a face with a single syringe. Facial balancing is a multimodal approach. I use a lot of Radiesse because it does two jobs at once: it restores volume by mimicking bone in recessed areas like the piriform, the gonial angle, and sometimes the cheeks, and it works as a biostimulator that rebuilds collagen and elastin depending on how I use it. So it is a technique and a plan, not one product in one spot.
Who is facial balancing for?
Almost anyone. My clients range from their late twenties into their seventies. It suits people who want more from their investment, because instead of only paying for volume you also get lasting structure and the collagen and elastin stimulation that Radiesse brings. In my hands I usually prefer Radiesse over hyaluronic acid filler for exactly those reasons.
How many syringes or sessions does full facial balancing take?
It depends on your goals, the areas we are treating, and your anatomy. I structure facial balancing into full, mid face, and lower face options. Many patients see a great result from even one well planned treatment, and we map the right number for you at your consult.
Why treat the whole face instead of chasing one area?
Faces change as a whole, not one line at a time, so treating in a considered plan gives a more natural, lasting result than filling one spot at a time. Balancing looks at how your features relate to each other, which is how the result reads as refreshed rather than worked on.
Will facial balancing make me look overdone?
Done properly, no. There is a real difference between balancing a face and putting eight or ten syringes of hyaluronic acid into it. Plenty of medspas around Dallas Fort Worth are built to sell syringes, and that is exactly why I do not price per syringe. My job is to use what you actually need to reach your goal. Overdone results usually trace back to an injector who will not say no, or to someone bouncing between injectors. Seeing one provider who knows your face makes all the difference.
Why do you use Daxxify exclusively instead of Botox?
I use Daxxify because I love the results, my patients love the results, and I love the longevity. It is vegan and peptide based, which matters to a lot of people right now. I do not carry Botox. It is not a bad product and it has been reliable for a long time, but I have never gotten my best results with it, and often you are paying for the brand. I do what is best for my practice and my patients, and for me that is Daxxify.
How is Daxxify different, and how long does it last?
Daxxify pairs its neurotoxin with a peptide that helps it last, and it contains no human or animal derived proteins. For my patients it averages around four to six months, depending on your habits and how you care for yourself. Because it lasts longer, you spend less of your year maintaining tox and more of it exploring other treatments you have been eyeing.
Why do you price tox per area instead of per unit?
Pricing per area frees me to give you the result you came for, without you counting units in the chair or feeling nickel and dimed. Think of my hairstylist Jose. I have gone to him for twenty years, I do not tell him how many ounces of product to use, I bring him the result I want and trust him to get me there. Your tox plan works the same way and it changes over time, because muscles weaken with consistent treatment and your anatomy guides where more or less is needed. Per area pricing also lets me layer product properly, use a different neurotoxin if your body responds better to one, and keep your price the same every visit. What can tox treat beyond the 11s and forehead?
So much more. The lower face is very undertreated, and people tend to associate tox only with the forehead, frown lines, and crow's feet. We can soften a gummy smile, create the look of a fuller lip with a lip flip, and ease a strong resting expression within reason. We can treat excessive sweating in the underarms or palms, do migraine therapy, treat the traps for tension relief and a slimming neck and shoulder line (sometimes called a swan neck or Barbie tox), and treat the masseters either to help with teeth grinding or to slim the jaw.
Safety, Filler & Reversibility
Safety firstCan filler be dissolved or reversed if I do not like it?
For the most part yes, though it depends on the product and how many sessions it takes. Hyaluronic acid filler is the easiest to reverse, because hyaluronidase breaks it down. Since I mostly use Radiesse for facial balancing, that one is not as simply dissolved, but there is clinical data on using hyaluronidase to address Radiesse concerns within a certain window after treatment. We talk through all of this before we ever begin.
I am nervous about filler migrating or looking puffy. What do you say to that?
Hyaluronic acid attracts water to plump and hydrate, which is lovely in the right place and puffy in the wrong one, especially in the tear troughs or when an injector keeps chasing the nasolabial folds with too much product. That overfilled, rounded out look is usually about placement and volume, not the patient. I do not use much hyaluronic acid to begin with, so puffiness beyond normal swelling is far less likely, and when I do use it I am extra careful. As for migration, the reassuring part is that HA dissolves easily. Most people actually fear the dissolving more than the migration, usually because they spent money to place it or worry they will look deflated afterward. You do not. You simply return to your baseline.
What makes a liquid rhino or under eye treatment higher risk, and how do you handle it?
These areas carry higher risk because of the anatomy. The nose and under eye are full of vessels that can carry product back toward the eyes and brain, and if filler enters or compresses an artery it can cause serious complications including tissue death, and in rare cases blindness or stroke. That is why you want an injector who understands this, works slowly and conservatively, and keeps vascular occlusion protocols and hyaluronidase ready. I inject using a one handed aspiration technique with a Control Ring my partner designed through our company KA Designs, so I can confirm my placement without losing the steady anchor hand that keeps treatment safe. Under the eyes the tissue is thin and unforgiving, so the wrong product or placement can create a bluish tint, puffiness, or lumpy malar mounds, which is exactly what careful technique and product selection prevent.

It depends which consult we are doing. I offer a standard consult, a full facial balancing consult, and a liquid BBL consult. You will sit down and tell me what you see and what bothers you. I will never label or belittle your concerns. A patient once told me another injector called her temple hollowing a peanut head, and in an industry that claims to be about confidence, that is not okay with me. I start with what matters to you, walk you through the areas I believe can help, and only weigh in on other areas if you open that door and ask. Afterward you get a recap email with your quote, timelines, and skincare recommendations, including anything I thought of later.
What makes FRZN different from a franchise or chain medspa?
FRZN is different because it is just me. I am the owner, the injector, and the person who answers your messages, which means I take real pride in it and in the relationships I build. I did not open FRZN to push profit. If selling as many syringes as possible were the goal, I would go work for a franchise, because that is their model. This is elective care built on a two way relationship and mutual respect. I will always be straight with you, and I treat my patients the way I would want to be treated.
As a nurse practitioner, what does your background bring to injecting?
I am a board certified acute care nurse practitioner with a background in emergency and critical care, and I still work in the ER. That matters in aesthetics more than people realize. I understand anatomy and risk deeply, I stay calm and prepared if something goes wrong, and I can recognize and manage a complication immediately. The same judgment that runs a critical situation in the hospital is the judgment guiding the needle in my chair.
How do I book, and do you offer virtual consults?
Virtual consultations are available for my semaglutide weight loss program only. Do I need medical grade skincare to get results at home?
I highly suggest medical grade skincare, but it is not all or nothing. I keep a good, better, best lineup for every concern, and that includes over the counter and drugstore options. Drugstore skincare can be just as beneficial as medical grade, it really comes down to whether it is right for your skin, what you pair it with, and your lifestyle, all of which affect how well and how quickly it works.
