What Is Facial Balancing?
The treatment I'm known for, and the one most people misunderstand. Here's what it really is, and why it looks like you, only in better proportion.
Facial balancing is the work I'm known for, and it's also the most misunderstood. People hear it and picture a lot of filler. It's closer to the opposite. Here's what it actually is, and why it's the closest thing I do to artistry.
What facial balancing actually is
One syringe of filler in one spot is not facial balancing. That's a la carte filler. A single syringe is about one milliliter, roughly the size of a ketchup packet, so it's hard to truly balance a face with just one. Facial balancing is a plan. It's a multimodal approach that looks at your whole face and how your features relate to each other, then treats them in proportion instead of chasing one line or one hollow.
That is exactly why I treat the whole face rather than one spot. Focusing on a single area only accentuates that area, and the more product that goes into one place, especially across multiple treatments over time, the more likely you end up with that overfilled look. It also throws off the proportion of the face as a whole. Faces age together, not one line at a time, so treating them in proportion is what keeps you looking like you, refreshed instead of worked on. It's also part of why I don't price per syringe. My job is to use what you actually need to reach your goal, not to sell you product.
Why I lean on Radiesse
A lot of my balancing work is done with Radiesse, because it does two jobs at once. It restores structure by mimicking bone in the areas that recede as we age, like the piriform around the base of the nose, the gonial angle of the jaw, and sometimes the cheeks. It also works as a biostimulator, so it prompts your own collagen and elastin to rebuild over time.
That means you're not only filling a space, you're rebuilding the foundation underneath it. For most balancing, in my hands, I reach for Radiesse over hyaluronic acid filler for exactly that reason.
Who it's for
My balancing clients range from their late twenties into their seventies. Whether we do a full plan or focus on just your lower face, it suits anyone who wants more from their investment, because instead of paying only for volume, you get lasting structure and the collagen and elastin stimulation that comes with it.
What your consult looks like
Balancing starts with a dedicated facial balancing consultation, where I map your face in detail and build a plan around your anatomy and your goals. I structure balancing into full, mid face, and lower face options, so we can go comprehensive or focus where it matters most for you, and plenty of people see a strong result from even one well planned treatment.
The consult is $300, and it goes toward your treatment when you book. You leave knowing exactly what I would recommend and why, with no pressure to do all of it at once. The treatment details and pricing live on my facial balancing page and my price list.
